Thank you Casey for some kind words. This last time, Casey placed a custom order which, obviously, she was happy with. CDB Straps sweats every order, standard or custom, and they never seem to be good enough and every effort is made to make them not just the best that can be done, but better. And if there is a way to make the straps or strap ends better, it will get incorporated.
But yet, part of the charm is that they are handmade and little “quirks” creep in to make each one not quite the same as any other. And everything that CDB Straps does keeps in mind the idea that it is people dealing people and they stuff we don’t like having done to us, we won’t do to others, especially cost-wise
CDB Straps wants to empower people with choices they didn’t have before and at a cost that is reasonable.

Previously I had designed and sold strap ends for Mandolin & Ukulele, but I was unhappy with them. They took too much effort to make them that was consistently up to my standards, and worse, the previous ones looked like everyone else’s. So I decided to re-design them and came up with the image below.
Version two utilizes my arrowhead design and is longer. Overall, with connecting ring, the ends are 1.5 inches wide by 6.5 inches long and will be available in 2 colors, black or burgundy.
The black will utilize a recently added shell material that is extremely tough but very attractive .
The burgundy edition will utilize red stitching and the black will utilize purple stitching.
Custom work is available
The image below is a mock-up of combining the CDB Straps logo, sans text, with a new generation black shell material. The idea is to emboss the logo into the strap end and sell as an additional set of guitar strap ends item in addition to ones without the logo.
The embossed strap ends will be available in black and burgundy
This project is in the early stages and the hardest part is finding a place who will do the work for me and that is located locally. Although embossing will be an additional cost, they will be priced the same as any other set of guitar strap ends. In certain limited instances, I will give away a set to promote CDB Straps
Should I expand to Europe, the stitching will likely be gold
At this point this is just a future possibility and I am looking for any comments or feedback

I call it the Weave pattern and it is a print based on the hippie generation weave and was the first design for CDB Straps. To celebrate that, rather then black strap ends, the strap ends are the wine read material, the stitching is gold and the shoulder strap ends are the extended ones rather then a one-piece metal hook (the metal hook is optional at no extra cost)
These can be found at Etsy.com
This a custom order I will be shipping out. The strap is the “off-the-shelf” Firerock pattern and has wine red strap ends with black stitching and a copper cactus concho. The cactus has a solid backing to support the copper. The loop, rivets and hook are either brass or brass-plated. The strap ends are each 6 inches long giving the assembled shoulder strap an overall length of 66 inches.
